This is a unique highlight: a kilometer long tunnel made of fossilized lava, several meters underground. It’s quiet and cool, but you can see sunlight at the end of the tunnel. While you’re trying to take it all in, the guide will tell you all the ins and outs. Then it’s time to stimulate another sense: your tastebuds. At the local farm, you will see how the processing of sugar cane and coffee has developed through the years. You can try a shot of caña, an alcoholic beverage that is made of sugar cane. The Galápagos Islands are a world-class destination for underwater enthusiasts. Diving here is often compared to swimming in a giant aquarium as there’s so much to see. Since today is your first day of diving, we make sure you ease into it at a comfortable pace. You’ll enjoy twofully guided dives with all equipment provided. If someone in your group isn’t diving, we’ll arrange a snorkeling tour to Santa Fe Island so no one misses out.

Today, two more dives are on the schedule. Exact meeting times are shared during the daily briefing, but usually you’ll gather around 7:00 AM and return by 2:00 PM. Your dive instructor ensures everything runs smoothly so you can fully enjoy the experience. Keep an eye out for hammerhead sharks, sunfish, and maybe even giant manta rays! If someone in your group isn’t diving, we’ll arrange a snorkeling tour to Pinzón Island so everyone has an adventure.
